Historic Windsor WeddingsDestination weddings are in, and rural settings offer a picture-perfect backdrop of rolling hills for the memorable day.
The Wedding Centre
Address:325 George Street
the foot of George Street and housed in a charming old building, The Wedding Centre provides a much-needed service to the Hawkesbury wedding scene and offers full attire for brides, grooms and all the wedding party. From accessories - headpieces, gloves, evening bags and exquisite jewellery - to the perfect attire - gorgeous dresses for the bride, bridesmaids and for Mum - you need not leave the Centre to leap over every hurdle a wedding day can present. And across the entry foyer in a specific and private section, men have many choices of formal wear for hire. They must be gorgeous too for the big event!
Sebel Hawkesbury Resort & Spa
Address:61 Hawkesbury Valley Way, Windsor
The Sebel offers one of the most charming outdoor settings for a Hawkesbury wedding: a lake surrounded by trees and manicured rose gardens. And if a winter wedding is your choice, Sebel Hawkesbury has a private chapel that can accommodate 100 guests. Our favourite option though, is the Gazebo, a beautiful conservatory-style room with an outdoor courtyard. The room is enclosed and with two lovely open fireplaces, the outside is inside.
Windsor Cottage
Address:267 George Street
While we love old houses, we do love our creature comforts. For that reason we look for new owners who keep the character of historic homes but rejuvenate them with modern conveniences. This is Windsor Cottage.
